Pacific Daily News has pictures available for viewing of the event. Click this link to be taken to PDN and view the pictures. Thank you Pacific Daily News for your coverage! If you were able to attend, we hope you had a great time and if you didn’t, we hope you can plan to be at next year’s celebration!

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Fo Guang Shan Guam invites everyone to experience a Lunar New Year tradition called “Wei Lu,” a special feast prepared to welcome in the New Year with our family, friends and community. There will be a vegetarian dinner along with performances by the Dun Huang dancers from Taiwan and many more surprises. The festivities begin January 14th at 6pm at Fo Guang Shan temple located at 158 Boman Street in Barrigada. Plan to attend to give thanks for the passed Year of the Tiger and to wish peace and well being for all in the New Year of the Rabbit!

If you are unfamiliar where Fo Guang Shan is in Guam, click on the link in the right hand column called “Map & Directions” or call Fo Guang Shan at 671-637-8679 for directions. We hope to see everyone there!
